Diving at Macabuca: Divers at Macabuca can expect clear visibility and warm waters year-round. The site is known for its diverse marine life and interesting underwater landscapes, including coral reefs and sunken artifacts. It’s ideal for both novice and experienced divers, providing a variety of depths and challenges.

Snorkeling at Macabuca: Snorkelers will enjoy the shallow waters that are teeming with colorful fish and vibrant coral formations. The entry from the shore is straightforward, allowing for extended periods of exploration in the calm, clear waters. It’s a perfect spot for families and those new to snorkeling.

Whether you’re looking to dive deep or float above the serene underwater world, Macabuca provides an exceptional experience. After your water adventures, you can relax at the restaurant, enjoying refreshments and stunning ocean views as you watch the sunset.

Cemetery Beach

Located at the northern end of the famous Seven Mile Beach (Closer to West Bay Public Beach), Cemetery Beach is a serene and less crowded alternative to the busier parts of Grand Cayman’s coast. Named after the small, quaint cemetery adjacent to the beach, this spot offers pristine white sands and clear, calm waters that are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The beach is renowned for its excellent snorkeling opportunities right from the shore, where you can explore vibrant coral reefs and a diverse range of marine life. With its towering shade trees, Cemetery Beach provides a tranquil setting for picnicking or simply relaxing under the sun. The absence of commercial development enhances its peaceful atmosphere, making it a perfect escape for those seeking a quiet day by the sea.

Bonnie’s Arch

Located off the west coast of Grand Cayman near West Bay, Bonnie’s Arch is a spectacular dive site that offers divers a chance to explore one of the island’s underwater marvels. This site is named after the
natural arch formation found within the coral reef, creating a stunning underwater landscape. Divers can swim through the arch and around a vibrant coral wall that hosts a variety of marine life including colorful fish, sea turtles, and occasional sightings of eagle rays. The water depth ranges from about 30 to 60 feet, making it accessible for both novice and experienced divers. Bonnie’s Arch is particularly famous for its photogenic qualities and the dramatic play of light through the arch, offering an unforgettable diving experience.

Eden Rock Diving Center Ltd

Located near George Town, these two adjacent sites are ideal for both snorkeling and diving. The areas feature fascinating underwater topography with dramatic coral structures, tunnels, and caves that
attract a variety of marine life, including tarpon and silversides.

Smith’s Barcadere

A beautiful and easily accessible spot for snorkeling, Smith’s Barcadere (also known as Smith’s Cove) offers crystal clear waters and healthy coral reefs close to shore. It’s located just south of George
Town and is a favorite among locals and visitors for its scenic beauty and excellent snorkeling.

Spotts Beach

A lesser-known gem on the south side of the island, Spotts Beach is great for snorkeling, especially for turtle sightings. The beach is usually not crowded, offering a more secluded environment to enjoy
the island’s underwater beauty. Please keep in mind that this beach can have rip tides/currents so keep an
eye out when entering the water.

Governors Beach

Located in front of Governor’s Beach along Seven Mile Beach, this reef offers excellent snorkeling with easy beach access. The reef is home to a diverse array of fish and occasionally turtles, with clear waters
and sandy patches.

Kittiwake Shipwreck & Artificial Reef

Sunk in 2011 off the northern end of Seven Mile Beach, the Kittiwake is a former US Navy submarine rescue vessel now serving as an artificial reef. It’s a popular site for divers of all levels and snorkelers, with the top of the wreck reachable just below the water’s surface.
