Terms & Conditions

Effective October 2025

By booking your stay at West Bay Oasis (“the Property”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Booking and Payment
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

  • Reservations are not considered confirmed until payment has been received in full and a confirmation email is issued.

  • Payments are accepted via credit card.

 
2. Check-In / Check-Out
  • Check-in: 4:00 PM

  • Check-out: 11:00 AM

  • Early check-in or late check-out requests may be accommodated, subject to availability and must be approved in advance.

 
3. Occupancy and House Rules
  • Maximum occupancy is 6 guests.

  • Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight.

  • Please respect the property and neighboring residences. Excessive noise, parties, or events are not permitted.

  • Smoking is not allowed inside the property.

  • Pets are not permitted unless explicitly approved in writing prior to arrival.

 
4. Property Care and Liability
  • Guests agree to maintain the property in good condition throughout their stay.

  • Any damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning required will result in additional charges.

  • The owner/management is not responsible for accidents, injuries, illness, or loss of personal belongings or valuables that occur on the premises.

 
5. Weather and Natural Events
  • In the event of an officially named tropical storm or hurricane affecting Grand Cayman, a full refund will be provided if the reservation is cancelled prior to check-in.

  • If a named storm occurs during your stay and you choose to depart early, a refund will be issued for unused nights.

  • This policy applies only to officially named storms recognized by the National Hurricane Center or the Cayman Islands Government.

  • Normal or seasonal weather conditions (such as rain, wind, or rough seas) do not qualify for a refund.

 
6. Force Majeure
  • The Property shall not be held liable for circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, government restrictions, airline cancellations, or other events that make travel or occupancy impracticable.

 
7. Privacy
  • Guest information is used solely for communication regarding your reservation and is not shared with third parties except as required by law.

 
8. Acceptance

By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Cancellation Policy

Effective October 2025

Short-Term Stays (27 nights or fewer)

  • Guests may cancel up to 5 days before check-in for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 5 days of arrival: the first night is non-refundable, and 50% of the remaining nights will be refunded.

  • No refund will be issued for early departures after check-in.

 

Long-Term Stays (28 nights or more)

  • Guests may cancel up to 30 days before check-in for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival: the first 30 nights are non-refundable.

  • If the reservation exceeds 30 nights, any additional nights after the first 30 will be refunded at 50%.

 

Severe Weather / Named Storm Exception

  • If a named tropical storm or hurricane affects Grand Cayman before or during your stay, you may:

    • Cancel before check-in for a full refund, or

    • Receive a refund for unused nights if you depart early.

  • Applies only to named storms officially recognized by the National Hurricane Center or the Cayman Islands Government.
